Scenario Presets

The scenario presets simplify the project setup by preconfiguring the project settings according to one of the three scenarios Default, Aerial Nadir, or Aerial Oblique. In particular, this will affect the method how stereo models are selected, the default tile size, and the output resolution in terms of the default quality setting.

Scenario Default
CLI
-scenario DEFAULT

Applications: Close range, UAV

Default tile size: 1000 GSD

Default quality level: High

Default workflow: AnalysisDense Cloud • Cloud Filter • 3D Mesh

Scenario Aerial Nadir
CLI
-scenario AERIAL <forward_overlap> <sideward_overlap>

Applications: large scale DSM, True Ortho, and Mesh production

Default tile size: 2000 GSD

Default quality level: Ultra

Default workflow: Analysis • Dense Cloud • DSM • True Ortho

Automatic GSD multiplicator & model count reduction

For low overlap scenarios (less than 80% in flight direction), ...

  • the estimated GSD will be doubled to guarantee for completeness of the results
  • the minimum model count will be automatically reduced to 1

Scenario Aerial Oblique
CLI
-scenario OBLIQUE

Applications: large scale high quality DSM, True Ortho, and Mesh production

Default tile size: 1000 GSD

Default quality level: Ultra

Default workflow: Analysis • Dense Cloud • DSM • True Ortho
