Moving Projects

Moving SURE Projects is generally not recommended, but if necessary, it can be done easily with the help of the SURE Graphical User Interface.


Some situations where moving a project may be desired include:

  • Editing is done in a workstation different from the one where the processing was done.

  • Disk space needs to be made available for new projects.

For moving a project, follow the following steps:

  1. Move the complete project folder to the desired location using the file explorer.

  2. Open the project in the new location using the SURE GUI.

  3. While opening the project, SURE will create the following dialog:

    Provide the same input data that you provided during the initial project setup.

  4. Click accept.

The inputs must be identical to the original set that was used for defining the project.
This includes the number of files, the file names, file content, and file order.

This functionality is not available for the Command Line Interface
